Pre-Order New Outwell 2013 Tents Now

It’s a funny old time of year for the camping industry. Many of the manufacturers are still working on their new ranges for the 2013 season, so here at World of Camping we therefore have less in stock than we will do as Spring approaches.

In the competitive camping industry which we’re in, companies will update many of their products on an annual basis, some model tents will just get a colour change, some will have extra features and innovations added and sometimes brand new tent designs appear.

This year Outwell have revamped many of their most popular tents from last year. The Montana 6P proved so popular that they’ve now released the slightly smaller……you’ve gussed it, Montana 5P. These tents, as well as the Georgia P and Vermont P ranges in the Outwell Premium Collection have plenty of nice new features.

The Inner tents have a new embossed front, and now have double piping to hide the zip. The most noticable difference is the addition of the new Night Sky Ceiling which, by reducing light penetration, produces an extra dark bedroom environment, so that early morning sun doesn’t wake you, or perhaps more importantly, the kids, at 5.30 in the morning. We all deserve a bit of a lie in on our holidays don’t we!?

Also available for pre-order now is one of the tents from Outwell’s new Superior Collection, the Biscayne 6. This, and the other soon to be available tents from this collection are unique, given that the new Outwell Hybrid Frame System (which produces a freestanding frame) enables these family tents to be customised by the camper to meet their specific needs. There’s the Cuisine Pod, which adds space for cooking. This has a mesh roof panel to allow additional ventilation and extra mesh pockets for storage. Also soon to be available are the storage and side pods, which will give extra storage, and, well…sideage!

All of these pods can be zipped on to any of the numerous side doors of the tent. Meaning if you’re on a busy campsite and squeezed into a pitch you’ve got a bit of leeway on where you add your extra pods, or maybe just so you can put them on the flattest bit of ground. As well as this new innovation, these tents also feature the new Night Sky Ceiling. Let John from Outwell give you a guided tour….
